The previous iteration of my personal site, built as a sprawling SPA.
Before this minimal iteration, my portfolio was a complex React application. It had page transitions, a dark mode toggle, and an over-engineered layout system.
It was fun to build, but a nightmare to maintain. Every dependency update broke something. It took 3 seconds to load on mobile. This project serves as a reminder that sometimes less is more.
